The film is a “promenade” across six projects of Indian architect Raj Rewal: The Hall of nations, the Nehru Pavilion, the SCOPE building, the CIET building, the Asian games village and the NII research campus. Images of historic buildings, miniature paintings and traditional iconography, appear at appropriate moments to show, how he has fused typologies from the past with a modern, rational, rigorous understanding of function, fabrication and structure, to design buildings for the present.
